FONIC BASS AND LOW/MID INSTALLATION GUIDE
Fonic Bass Traps are designed for use in the corners where two surfaces meet at 90 degrees (placed anywhere else they will not have the same effect on low frequencies), this is usually where two walls meet. They are also made to be stacked on top of each other as high as the ceiling permits. To further improve the performance, Fonic Low/Mid Traps can be snugly fitted behind Fonic Bass Traps.

Fonic Low/Mid Traps are similar to Fonic Bass Traps, but designed primarily to be used in 90 degree corners where walls meet the ceiling (or where walls meet the floor). They can be used in as much of this area as space permits.
It is vital to balance the use of Bass Traps, Low/Mid Traps and Fonic Tiles in a room, to achieve a smoothed response.
  TECHNICAL FLAMABILITY STANDARDS.
All Fonic Acoustic Product Types have been Flamability Tested.

The standard FONIC range has been tested and passed the following flamability standard.
BS5852 - 1990 (section 4 12.2) British flammability standard.
Smouldering cigarette test: Ignition Source 0
Assessment of ignitability by smouldering ignition source

STD- Standard rating that Fonic range conforms to

The FONIC range is also available in an enhanced flame resistant FR Series conforming to the following flamability standards
BS5852 - 1990 (section 4 12.2) British flammability standard.
Smouldering cigarette test: Ignition Source 0
Assessment of ignitability by smouldering ignition source

BS5852 - 1990 (section 4 12.3) British flammability standard Modified 2, Butane flame test: Ignition Source 2
(2) Propane gas used instead of butane gas in flame ignition tests. Flaming Ignition

The above test results relate only to the ignitability of the combination of upholstery composities (section 4 of BS5852 - 1990) under the particular conditions test stated; they are not intended as a means of assessing the full potential fire harzard of the materials or products in use.

Please consult the standards or your local authority to determine the suitability of these products to your application.
